This Pool Eye above ground pool alarm system is a sub-surface propagation wave detector. Detects 15 lbs. or more. (for above ground pools up to 24' round and up to oval 16x32' size)

Placing the sensor below the water level elminates false alarms because of the elements such as wind and rain.  Low battery indicator included.

This product is not a replacement for adult supervision but it is an aid to multi-level pool supervision. 

Uses 4 AA batteriens (not included)

You can test the unit by using a 5 gallon pail of water that is about 1/3 full and drop the bucket into the above ground pool from about 6 inches above the surface.  The wave created should activate the alarm. A sensitivity adjustment is provided to assure your unit is working properly.  If the batteries get low, a chirping sound will be heard to alert you to change the batteries. (low battery alert chirps once every 60 seconds - similar to a low battery indicator on a smoke detector).
