Reduces the pH level when your hot tub water tests as alkaline.

The recommended range is 7.4 - 7.8 ppm. In this range, both the spa user and equipment are protected.
If the pH levels are not in the acceptable range use pH Up to make the water more basic or pH Down to make the water more acidic.

Spa Choice Granular pH Down is a product that effectively lowers the pH level of your pool water. pH is the most important factor in balancing pool water; an ideal pH range is between 7.3 and 7.8. With low pH, acidic water, add pH Up. With high pH, basic water, add  pH Down.
Troubleshooting Tips Problem High pH (level above 7.8) and high level of total alkalinity (level over 200 ppm). Solution Adjust pH to 7.4 to 7.6 (ideal range) with pH Down.
